Being a nurse is one of the most challenging and gratifying job in the medical world. Sure, it is not an easy one as nurses do have to take on a lot of responsibilities in the absence of doctors. A challenging work as the one of a nurse requires some prerequisites such as having strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to maintain composure to cope with an emergency and a difficult situation. Have the ability to work in stressful environments and under pressure. Moreover, the nurse should be able to perform basic nursing duties and responsibilities, have excellent time management and organization skills, have the capacity to maintain the safety, quality and infection control standards, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team too.
